It all started with two Toronto transplants scrolling UberEats looking for something to eat. 

Not being too too hungry, a decision was made to enjoy our favourite Jamaican childhood snack - the patty. Savoury, filling, and plenty flavourful. 

Imagine our shock when we struggled to find a good patty in a major Canadian city. 

This one’s too stiff, this one’s too dull, this one nuh ‘ave no taste. 

This hungry night was the birth of Auntie Dee’s Kitchen.  

We decided to harness the skills of our cooking aunts and make our own, the birth of the People’s Patty.
